Waitawa Regional Park is one of our favourite east-coast astro locations. Weโ€™ll shoot from high up on the hills where you have sweeping panoramic views of Kawakawa Bay and The Coromandel Peninsula. We can also shoot at the pier, close to the water, which often has bioluminescence and wonderful views out to Karamuramu Island.

This is an intensive 8 hour course. Weโ€™ll rotate our time between each student to cover all aspects of astrophotography from shooting to editing. Suitable for all levels.

Star Trackers are available to use for this course for those already experienced in astrophotography. They are issued on a first-come-first-served basis.
