One of the most exciting experiences in central China is the food...

Guides Charles and Francesco have both spent years living in central China. After photography our greatest passion is gastronomy, and the food of Guizhou and Guangxi gets us really excited!

We've scoured the region to find the best cuisine, tasting everything from exotic dishes at famous restaurants through to regional delicacies hidden down dark alleys known only to the hardcore locals!

While we don't have time to taste everything on this tour we're certainly going eat well.

 

Most of these photos were taken by our dear friend Michael Tavernaro. Michael was formerly principal Bassoon with the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra and now lives in Austria where he runs iMovements.
